As of version 1.78.1, VS Code on Windows only allows access to UNC paths (these begin with a leading \\) that were either approved by the user on startup or where the host name is configured to be allowed via the security.allowedUNCHosts setting.

Melted was born in 2017. I was facing some hard time regarding my profession, but I wanted to push forward and inspire others to do the same. So I put my fears aside, and several huge cups of coffee later, this project was born. It moved exclusively to Medium in 2021.
The graphic design in the movie Paterson is excellent for when you feel all the details are getting overwhelming and need the inspiration to focus on one important aspect. The visual storytelling in Paterson can help when the noise inside your head gets too loud, and you need to find your creative workflow back.
So, I took to the streets and yelled ‘I AM A GRAPHICS LADY’ on the assumption that a sense of drama would have The Film People flocking to me — and by this I mean I tried e-mailing people and found out it’s not super easy to get into the film industry, even with the ever-desirable archaeology and anthropology degree.
